- Full name and usual address
- Death certificate or interim death certificate (scan or photograph)
- A piece of photographic ID, such as a passport of driving licence, to upload and verify your identity. (scan or photograph)

If not receiving pension payments:
- Call them on 0345 606 0040, Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm
- Use their online form
If already receiving pension payments:
- Call them on 35 606 0007, Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm
- Use their online form
For life and savings products:
- Call them on 0345 606 0031, Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm
- Use their online form
