How to Register a Death with Monzo

What documentation do you require to register a death with Monzo?

Monzo requires you to provide the following information:

  • Name and DoB of the deceased
  • Mobile Phone Number or E-mail Address 
  • Account Number 
  • A copy of the Death Certificate
  • Contact Details for Notifying Party

What Happens Next?

Once you have notified Monzo of the death they will put a marker on the account. Should they need to speak with you further or require any further documentation they will contact you at a time convenient to you.

Date of Birth
Date of Death
Full name and usual address
Death certificate or interim death certificate (scan or photograph)
