What documentation will you need to tell First Utility about a death?

As with most utility companies, First Utility requires you to have the following documentation to hand:

● A final meter reading
● Information as to whether the property is rented or owned
● A copy of a recent statement

You may also need to provide the number of the Death Certificate.

What happens next?

First Utility should then be in contact, to advise you about the rest of the process.
