What information is required to tell M&S Home Insurance of a bereavement?

You will need to have the following information to hand when telling M&S Home Insurance of a death

  • Death Certificate
  • Proof of Identity
  • Deceased's details
  • Your details

What Happens Next?

Once you have notified M&S Home Insurance of a death, they will contact you at a convenient time if extra information is needed. Additionally, if a home insurance policy has been in place in joint names, there will be an option to transfer the policy to the sole policyholder, if you wish to do so.
