What documentation do you require to register a death with Aviva Equity Release – Mortgages?

Aviva Equity Release – Mortgages asks that you provide the following information:

Details of the policyholder
Original or certified copy of the death certificate

What Happens Next?

If the policy is under joint names, the lifetime mortgage will be transferred to the surviving borrower. If the only policyholder dies, the mortgage will usually be paid back from the sale of the property. Aviva Equity Release – Mortgages will contact you if they need any further information.
