The deceased’s:
  • Date of Death
  • Full name and usual address
  • Death certificate or interim death certificate (scan or photograph)
From you:
  • A piece of photographic ID, such as a passport of driving licence, to upload and verify your identity. (scan or photograph)

What information will you need to report a death to Rolls Royce Pension Scheme?

You will need to have the following information to hand when telling Rolls Royce Pension Scheme of a death:

  • The member’s pension number or national insurance number. If you cannot find either of these details, we’ll ask you for their full name and date of birth
  • The date that the member passed away
  • Details of a spouse, civil partner or financially dependent individual who may be entitled to dependant’s benefits
  • Your name and email address so that we can respond and provide further information

What Happens Next?

As soon as they are able, the Rolls-Royce Pension Scheme will send through the information required for tax purposes, and to request any additional information they may need, and to confirm what will happen.
