What documentation will you need to notify Audible of a death?

In order to notify Audible of a death, you need to send the account holder’s details.

When you email Audible, you will also need to attach a certified copy of the death certificate to an e-mail and forward it, along with the email address of the account being closed.

This is required to ensure that they take action on the correct account, and account information is only provided to authorised persons.

What happens next?

After you have emailed the Audible team, they should advise you about the remainder of the death notification process.

Date of Death
Full name and usual address
Death certificate or interim death certificate (scan or photograph)
