The deceased’s:
- Date of Death
- Full name and usual address
- Death certificate or interim death certificate (scan or photograph)

How do you report a death to Tesco Clubcard?
To inform Tesco Clubcard of a death, you can:
- By calling the team on 0800 591 688
- By filling their online form at Tesco forms
Unfortunately we are unable to inform Tesco Clubcard of a bereavement but if you have to close several accounts belonging to the deceased, Life Ledger has a secure, easy-to-use service to help. Once you have created your free account, you can send death notifications to banks, utilities providers and subscription services, all through our secure and easy to use platform
What documentation will Tesco Clubcard ask me to provide?
You should have the following information available when you contact Tesco Clubcard:
- The deceased’s Tesco Clubcard number (16-digit)
- Member’s name and contact details
- Name of person – at the same address – to whom the points will be transferred
What Happens Next?
If the points are being transferred, then Tesco Clubcard should take care of this for you.
